MxN Middle East FZ-LLC completes the installation of the first true Digital Signage Network in Nairobi, Kenya.
Dubai, UAE June18, 2007
MxN Middle East today announced the completion of the first phase of installation on the only true Digital Signage Network in Nairobi, Kenya. The first location installed was the Tuskers Grocery Store (Imara Branch) in downtown Nairobi. Further locations that are currently being installed are Tusker Pioneer, Tusker Buru Buru, Woolmatt Development House, Woolmatt City Hall, Ukwala Mfangano Street, Ukwala Ronald Ngala Street and StageMatt City Stadium. This is the first true Network to be setup in multiple and different grocery stores but sold as one network.
MxN was retained by a local Kenyan company, Live and Motion Media to assist in the setting up of the Digital Signage Network. ‘We chose MxN Middle East after meeting with numerous other digital signage, hardware and software companies’ says Joram Gatei, Director of Live and Motion Media. This solution allows for a fully managed Digital Signage Network that will include advertisements, as well as various local, community and store messages. MxN was appointed to provide a total solution including hardware, software, installation, training, ongoing support for the network as well as to build the whole business model for Live and Motion.
Prior to the launch of the Digital Signage Network by Live and Motion there was no solution for the speedy and high quality deployment of ads in grocery stores in Kenya. Other companies use DVD technology and have no way to update content remotely. ‘Now an ad can be launched to the entire Network in a matter of minutes’ says Gatei. The resulting solution provides Live and Motion with a high-impact Digital Signage Network capable of uploading, scheduling and the ability to manage the media content via the Internet.
'At MxN we take great pleasure in the successful setting up of Live and Motion Media’s Digital Signage Network. We made a commitment to the owners and Managers of Live and Motion Media that we would make them the best Digital Signage company in Africa, and they are definitely on the right path to success. We have helped them get the business open, purchase the appropriate hardware and software and consulted on the initial installation. We gave them a complete and truly turn key business model. We have proven on multiple occasions that we can establish Digital Signage companies from the ground up. Something that no one else in the region can claim’, says Raad Raad, Managing Director of MxN Middle East.
Preliminary research indicates that the ‘out of home’ media industry is growing at a very fast rate. The signage sector is constantly looking for innovative cost effective solutions that will produce great results. The establishment of Live and Motion Media helps to catapult MxN ahead of the rest of their competitors as the premier Digital Signage Integrators in the Middle East.
‘MxN has demonstrated a great degree of flexibility and professionalism in the work they have done to help us launch this network. They have demonstrated a clear understanding of what is required to setup a Digital Signage company’, continued Gatei.
